The European Corporate Security Association – ECSA is a
professional association dedicated to Managers responsible for
Security, Resilience, and Anticipation in both public and private
organizations operating in Europe.
It was established in 2005 as a non-profit organization,
following brainstorming sessions involving senior
representatives from
Eurojust,
Europol, and the Corporate
Security communities.
ECSA boasts an extensive network of
National and
International Corresponding Associations, fostering the
exchange of best practices, organizing events, and facilitating
local situational awareness. This network also serves as a
reliable referral-based contact network. Additionally, ECSA
maintains a network of Friendship Ambassadors across several
countries.
In addition to organizing informational and networking events,
ECSA takes part in or supports top-level
Higher EducationPrograms and facilitates
Delegation Visits to relevant
organizations, regions, and events.
Membership in ECSA requires undergoing a formal acceptance
procedure, ensuring a cohesive and dedicated community of
professionals.
