The European Corporate Security Association (ECSA) aims to foster a community of security professionals who promote fellowship among its members and work together as a cohesive team to achieve common objectives. This sense of community and team spirit forms the foundation of ECSA’s core values.
Managers responsible for Security, Resilience, or Anticipation in both public and private organizations, who embracing this Spirit, can become Regular Members. These Regular Members form the inner circle of ECSA.
Furthermore, ECSA acknowledges that certain professional actors who provide systems, equipment, or services to the Security Communities possess specific know-how and expertise that can bring added value to the Regular Members. If these actors align with the ECSA Spirit, they can be accepted as Industry Members.
Both the Founding Members and the Members who have joined the Association in recent years prioritize their contributions as team players towards fulfilling a shared Mission & Vision, rather than the advantages they gain from membership. ECSA warmly welcomes all professionals who have the capability and motivation to contribute to this aim. They will receive a warm welcome, experience a strong sense of team spirit, and benefit from an enduring network of trusted contacts.
Individuals whose primary objectives revolve around personal advancement or commercial benefits, or who adopt a purely cost-benefit approach towards association memberships, do not align with the ECSA Spirit and should refrain from seeking ECSA Membership.
